The annual Glow Walk took place at the Light The Park event on Sunday, Nov. 27. It was a beautiful night and the park was filled with lights, laughter and Christmas cheer. Area businesses have filled the Dunnegan Memorial Park with displays for the holiday season. Light The Park is open from now until Friday, Dec. 30 for families to enjoy from their vehicles. more

This year OACAC partnered with the First Baptist Church and received donations from local businesses to serve Polk County families with a Thanksgiving meal. Wednesday, Nov. 16, families received all the makings for a Thanksgiving meal at a drive-thru pick-up at COM. Other full Thanksgiving meal baskets were distributed by OACAC to the Karlin Lane Head Start and Broadway Head Start families. more
On Friday night, Nov. 11, the Bolivar square came alive with Christmas all around. The Downtown Bolivar Association hosted the annual tree lighting ceremony and welcomed visitors to enjoy fun activities, including a visit from Santa and Mrs. Claus. more
