A Polk County Grand Jury has indicted Bolivar resident Robert Michael Liles, 41, on four charges of child sexual abuse. According to the Grand Jury report, between August 2021 and February 2022, Liles allegedly had sex, molested, and abused a child under the age of 14 years. more
If you have driven on Mo.13 heading to Bolivar you have probably seen the makings of the Bolivar welcome sign. The weather has slowed things a bit, but the south sign at the first exit heading northbound, is anticipated to be finished by the end of February - weather permitting. The northern sign, by the Kum&Go, is expected to be completed the following month. It is estimated that 85% of the signs’ total cost will be from donations and a grant of $30 thousand from the Missouri Department of Tourism. more

As a participant in the Show Me Healthy Women program, the center provides free initial care for cervical and breast cancers which are aimed at improving health outcomes and reducing the risks of cancer through early detection. more
