The Bearcat women’s volleyball took a business trip to Indiana this past weekend to compete at the Midwest Region Crossover. The Bearcats plowed their way through competition going a perfect 3-0 and winning all but one set. They defeated the likes of Malone University, Roosevelt University, and Kentucky Wesleyan College moving them to 11-12 on the season. more

The 2024 tennis Lady Liberators have been setting goals and checking them off one-by-one this season. Earlier this month, they earned a conference championship title and then secured berths for two doubles teams in the individual State tournament. In the last week they checked off two more. The Lady Liberators are now heading to the Final Four after claiming an impressive fifth straight district title last week with a 5-3 upset over top seed Carl Junction followed this week by a 5-1 state quarterfinal win over Savannah. more
The Waynesville Lady Tigers traveled to Bolivar for senior night on Tuesday, Oct. 15. They were greeted by a cold 16-mph NE wind and a red hot Bolivar team. more
Friday afternoon, Oct. 11, the SBU Women’s soccer team started off their road weekend with another conference matchup. They faced Quincy University and came away with a 1-0 win, defeating the hawks for the first time since 2014. more

Class 3 District 3 girls golf districts were held at Silo Ridge on Thursday, Oct. 10. 15 schools were participating. Bolivar had 2 golfers, junior DeLaney Daniels, and senior Caitlyn Cribbs who qualified for the state tournament. more
For the second consecutive year, the tennis Lady Liberators have captured a conference championship. The 2023 conference title came in Bolivar’s final year with the Ozark Conference. This week, the Lady Liberators became the first ever Ozark Mountain Conference tennis champions in the inaugural season of the OMC. Bolivar hosted the six team tournament for nearly nine hours of competition on Oct. 8. With the low score of 16 points, the Lady Liberators secured first with a three point margin of victory over Branson with 19 followed by Carl Junction with 20, two teams that bested Bolivar in tight matches previously in the season. more
Ozark Mountain Conference members, the Bolivar Lady Liberators, and Logan-Rogersville Lady Wildcats met in Bolivar, on Thursday, Oct. 3, to play the first conference softball game between the two schools. Bolivar had met them in the conference tournament earlier in the year and outlasted Log-Rog 9-8. more

The SBU football team continued GLVC action last Saturday afternoon as they hosted the Lincoln Blue Tigers on homecoming. Behind a packed crowd full of former and present Bearcats, SBU edged out the Blue Tigers to 17-13. They pick up their first conference win of the season moving to 2-2 (1-1 GLVC). more
Bolivar soccer improved to 9-2 on the season after picking up two wins at home in the last week. With their only losses coming back-to-back in week two, the Liberators have since built an eight game winning streak that includes capturing a first place finish in the Willard Tournament after three difficult games with Logan Rogersville, Hillcrest, and the host team, Willard. Outscoring their opponents at nearly a 9 to 1 rate, the Liberators have tallied an impressive 35 goals on the season while allowing only four defensively. more
After a week of festivities including a homecoming dance, a parade and the crowning of the queen, the Bolivar Liberators went out for the coin toss with the Marshfield Bluejays. more
