Morrisville woman injured in crash

A woman from Morrisville was hurt in a single-car crash in Polk County at around 9:45 p.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 5.

According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol crash report, Stacy Bloom, 46, was westbound on 107th Road, south of Route T about half a mile east of Bolivar, in a 2017 Toyota Avalon when she failed to stop at the intersection, ran off the roadway, and struck a barbed wire fence.

Bloom, who the report said was not wearing a seat belt, suffered moderate injuries. She was transported from the scene to Citizens Memorial Hospital in Bolivar.

The report stated that the vehicle was totaled and towed from the crash site by B&B Wrecker.
