Two women from Stockton were hurt in a two-car crash in Polk County at around 12:45 p.m. on
Tuesday, Aug. 16.

According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol crash report, Ashli L. Supancic, 30, was driving
a 1999 Honda CRV eastbound on Highway 32, about 1.5 miles west of Bolivar, when a
westbound 2000 International fertilizer truck, driven by Roger J. Desautels, of Bolivar, crossed
the center of the roadway to avoid a stopped car and struck Supancic’s vehicle.

Supancic, who the report stated was wearing a seatbelt, traveled off the right side of the roadway
and struck the ditch.

She was moderately injured, the report states, and transported by ambulance to Citizens
Memorial Hospital in Bolivar.

Her passenger, Nicole B. Fish, 19, had serious injuries and was also transported to CMH in
Bolivar via ambulance, per the report.

She was also wearing a belt, the report stated.

No injuries were listed for Desautels, whom the report said was not wearing a seatbelt.

The MSHP report stated that Desautels’ vehicle had minor damage, and was driven from the
scene. The Honda, driven by Supancic, was totaled and towed by B and B Towing, per the
report.
