Charles Leo Mashburn, 83, of Bolivar passed away in Buffalo on Nov. 28, 2022. “Charlie” was born July 26, 1939, on the family farm between Goodson and Louisburg, the first of four children born to Betty Crowell and Jesse Mashburn. more

The Zion Ladies Guild held their annual chicken and noodle fundraiser Saturday, Nov. 5. The guild provides funds to several area charities every year, this year they raised $3100 to be divided among the charities. Those that receive funds are House of Hope, Alpha House, Shop With A Cop, SOAR, COM, and Care to Learn, all Bolivar located charities. more
