Franz Hallatschek Sr., age 93, of Pittsburg, passed away Nov. 10, 2024 at Hermitage Nursing and Rehab, Hermitage. He was born Nov. 29, 1930 in Germany, the son of Josef and Theresia (Thur) Hallatschek. He had served in the U.S. Navy from 1956 thru 1957. He had worked most of his life as foreman of a road construction company.
