Even though the temperatures were not what one would expect at Christmas, the square was filled with the joy and excitement of the season. Santa was available for the kids to visit with, the Polk County Christian School bell ringers performed, Bolivar’s jazz band performed and JROTC presented the colors. Everyone (that was up for it), had the opportunity to do a little ice skating, as well as enjoy some S’more’s at the fire pit managed by members of the Bolivar Fire Department. All in all it was the perfect way to kick off the holiday season.
